On W.110th Street and Manhattan Avenue...
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10:33PM One great thing about having a booth at a farmer's market is the close proximity to great produce. Each week I go home with home grown products from the other vendors and all at very reasonable prices. I am happy to say that the vendors visit my booth as well, along with people passing through the market.
This market is run by Community Markets. Their website includes a list of farmer's markets in New York State, as well as eating guidelines and recipes.
Jake is the market manager for this location, he's very helpful and full of information. Also, if the wind blows too hard he will help me keep the tent from blowing away :)
Here's my neighbor Tim, with a bottle of local honey.
These are the Chutney folks:
Migliorelli Farms have some epically good blueberries and a pretty sweet setup:
The folks from Bread Alone sell amazing whole grain breads:
And then there's the Chocolate Muffin:
Come and visit us sometime! If you get here early enough you may even snag a hot cocoa cookie...
